Building tools that put AI in the hands of creative people: the agent runs in E2B sandboxes with infinite context, skills, and connectors. Built the platform underneath: billing structure, usage metrics, workspace and team sharing, and the management and marketing content. Building the decision-model plumbing that keeps agent loops honest. Small team, fast pace, hard problems. The kind of place where your work is the product.

Four promotions over four years. Senior SWE to Agent Engineering Lead.

Started as Senior SWE. Shipped the Plugin Library with AI at its core. Presented at Dev Day. Led the Developer Experience team. Ended up running agent engineering. The arc: individual contributor to team lead, data onboarding to AI agents. The throughline was always the same — make hard things feel easy.

A decade on my own. Engineering for clients, photography for myself.

Ten years of choosing my own problems. Built software for startups and studios. Shot chiaroscuro portraits in the mountains. Learned that the best work happens when nobody is telling you what to make — and that discipline is what makes that freedom possible.

Design studio focused on movement, typography, story, and strategy.

Lead engineer at a studio where the designers cared about kerning and the engineers cared about easing curves. Built sites and apps for brands that cared about the details. Learned that movement is meaning — how something enters a screen changes what it says.

Built Ruby on Rails inventory management for a drone company.

Six months at a drone company. Built the inventory system that tracked every part on every shelf. Short stint, specific problem, clean solution. Sometimes that's the whole job.

Media production company. Where it started.

My first real engineering job. Built websites and tools for a media production company in Omaha. Learned that the web is a storytelling medium, and that code is just the scaffolding.

Four subjects. One degree. A lot of late nights.
